Radiating leg pain from sciatic nerve compression doesn't have to be your normal. Chiropractic care and spinal decompression can relieve the pressure causing your pain — without surgery or medication dependency.
What is sciatica?
Sciatica refers to pain that travels along the path of the sciatic nerve — which runs from the lower back, through the hips and buttocks, and down each leg. It typically affects only one side of the body.
Most cases of sciatica occur when a herniated disc, bone spur, or narrowing of the spinal canal (spinal stenosis) compresses part of the nerve. This causes inflammation, pain, and often some numbness or tingling in the affected leg.
Sciatica can range from a mild, occasional ache to sharp, burning pain that makes it difficult to sit, stand, or walk. In most cases, chiropractic care can provide significant relief without the need for surgery or long-term medication.

How we treat sciatica
We don't take a one-size-fits-all approach. After evaluating the cause and severity of your sciatica, we'll recommend the treatment combination most likely to get you results.
Targeted spinal adjustments to relieve pressure on the sciatic nerve by restoring proper alignment to the lumbar spine and pelvis. Often provides rapid pain reduction.
Non-surgical traction therapy that gently stretches the spine to take pressure off compressed discs. Particularly effective when sciatica is caused by herniated or bulging discs.
Therapeutic massage to relax the piriformis and surrounding muscles that may be irritating or compressing the sciatic nerve, reducing inflammation and improving circulation.
Targeted stretches and strengthening exercises to support the spine, reduce nerve irritation, and prevent recurrence. We'll teach you what to do at home between visits.
Your first visit
We review your health history, perform a physical exam, assess your posture and movement, and identify the exact source of your sciatic pain.
If X-rays or imaging are appropriate for your case, we'll let you know. We only recommend what's clinically necessary.
We explain your diagnosis clearly and present a treatment plan built around your condition, lifestyle, and recovery goals.
Most new patients receive treatment on day one. Your exam also includes a free 30-minute massage therapy session.
